What is spdif on my lcd tv

Hello,im tring to hook up my tv to my stero at home but it has spdif on the tv tv radio do so how can i hook it up and there no coaxil connetion either

I think you can connect your TV set to an amplifier with an SPDIF input. This way you get sound from your speakers connected to the amplifier as well as TV speakers.

I believe the same TV set should have two RCA sound output jacks, through which you can connect the TV set to your stereo. Most TV sets have these RCA jacks ( one colored white and one colored red) for connection to external amplifiers.
