Hi all,

I have an Audigy Platinum in a 3-year old computer which I plan to give away when I build a new one in a few weeks. I am addicted to the awesome front panel, but I'm not sure whether it is wiser to keep it and have an older card in a new system or wiser to spend $200 on the Audigy2 ZS Platinum for my new rig. I am leaning towards keeping the old card, considering that $200 could go elsewhere in my system.

So my question is: Do you think the Audigy Platinum is worth keeping?

Thanks in advance.

Of course its worth keeping! But the question should be! Is it any where close to the Audigy 2 ZS Platinums performance? The answer to that, is NO!

But what you should be after is the X-FI Platinum Period!
