Memory when NOT overclocking

For years I've always had this perception that ValueSelect and Value-level memory is "crap" and unstable, etc.

However, I think that might have been because I was hearing it from OC'ers...

So question - if memory has a "lifetime" warranty and is from a reputable brand (Corsair, Kingston, Crucial, OCZ, etc.) will it be just as good quality/stable of RAM as their more expensive stuff?

For non-OCing purposes, is it really important to have "Gold or Platinum" or "XMS" etc.?

Also, what is the non-OCed speed difference between Value RAM and the faster stuff?

Sorry, increasing my post count isn't quite my life's priority, seeing as how no one cares how many posts you have if you're not helpful... and yes, you do have plenty of posts...

It's ironic that you tell me to have respect for others using this community for help when your responses are frequently no longer than one sentence, and in this case tell someone to "go away."

I don't group a million questions together in one thread for a couple reasons: 1) they tend to get overlooked 2) for others using this community for help, it is easier to find the information when in a seperate topic, and 3) this is a seperate topic that warrants a different thread

I've heard of problems running Kingston Value series in dual-channel mode with several different platforms.

Some value series can overclock well. 'Value' is a relative term and does not mean you will pay less. In some cases, 'value' simply means you get more for your money.

OCZ has some good value memory I've read, but then Kingston value RAM.. haven't heard such good news.
