After I rearrange my favorites list to my liking it rearranges itself back
into alphabetical order. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to
this---sometimes it will do it after 2 months,sometimes after 8 months,etc.Is
there anyway to stop this from happening?(I have Windows XP Home Version)

Something is deleteing this key...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MenuOrd
er\Favorites

Or deleting the Value Name Order under that key.

Or you are somehow hitting the B key with the Favorites right click menu
open. B is the keyboard shortcut for Sort By Name.

Or you are somehow opening the Favorites right click menu and selecting Sort
By Name.

Or none of the above.

Hope this helps. Let us know.

Thank you.I will keep these things in mind and try to pay close attention
just in case I am somehow doing them without realising it.
