I'm going to be doing a fresh XP install soon and I have a reg 120g 7200rpm drive along with a new 74g raptor I just bought.

I was wondering, for the most performance, which drive to use as main/secondary, which to install windows on, put programs on, and put other stuff on i.e. music and files.

I am thinking of getting an external case for the 120g, and keeping junk and other files on that so I dont clutter the 74g, will this decrease performance, or will I even notice a difference...

Thanks.

Raptor = OS + Apps and Games if you can get it to fit.

Yup. I use my Raptor RAID 0 array for XP Pro and all my programs, and even video editing. My 80GB is strictly a backup network drive.
