Hi, ever since I built my [first] rig, i've been experiencing crashes in games from "nvd3dum.dll".
Specs:
Windows 7 x64 ultimate
16gb corsair vengeance ram
i7-3770
gtx 660 Ti
asus p8z77 m-pro mobo

I downloaded the new 306.23 driver which was supposed to fix the crashes but I still get them. Is it because I still have the old drivers in my registry or something? Please help guys cause I literally can't play games on this computer without them crashing a few minutes in. Thanks.

*EDIT*: I tried rolling back the driver and that only made games crash right away

when you install new driver always remove the old one first

How do I do that? I already installed this new one so how do I get rid of the old ones while retaining this one?
