Looking to pick-up a budget large wide-screen. But I'm not sure what the finer points of monitor purchasing

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/158908

Impressive resolution for the price. I guess it's cheap as VGA seem to be getting phased out, but does that make it bad value for money?

Should I pay more just to get the DVI? such as: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/158382

GFX card it'll be paired with will probably be a 1gig HD 4850.

I just want a monitor that can ideally reach around 1900x1000, 3 year warranty preferred, and with a good picture quality. I'm not too bothered about the stand, while it will probably give me a bad back being only able to adjust the tilt, anything with a decent stand seems to cost way more than I want to pay.

Advice and recommendations welcome.
