I would like to connect both my speakers and my headphones to my pc, but I dont seem to get any sound out of my headphones unless they are connected to the speaker output. And this way I can't use my speakers.
I would like to know if there is a way to connect both to the pc and then select from windows which to use at any time.

Well, if you're connecting with a stero mini-jack, you could use a Y-adapter, where you plug both your headphones and speakers into one side of the Y, and plug the other side into your computer. You should be able to pick one up at your local electronics store for a few bucks.
