OCZ for A8N SLI Premium

I'm building a new system, I already have a video card (BFG GeForce 7800 GT OC) and picked a CPU and motherboard (Athlon 64 3000+ Venice core and Asus A8n-SLI Premium). My question is will I be ok running 2x512MB OCZ Gold Series on this board, I know its not on Asus's list for this board. WIll these be OK/if not can you suggest something with 2-2-2 timings thats compairable in price.

Thought so, thanks for the detailed reply. As far as OCing goes, that'll be just fine as I'm getting this board for features, looks, performance in that order with OCing really just an after thought.

That board is a respectable overclocking board, anyway...
