Need suggestions on which headset 5.1 or?

ive recently added auzentech 7.1 forte sc (also got the fatal1ty I/o internal drive from creative) im curious is the gaming sound efx better w reg or 5.1 headset.i relize that the i/o drive is creative and is made for creative headsets/ would the sound be better on the creative headsets or 5.1 surround headsets(the i/o drive has 2 3.5 mini females on the front as the creative headsets have 2 male 3.5 mini's.do they make 5.1 surround headsets w/2 3.5 mini males or are they all usb (also i am wondering since the forte sound card is not creative what if any diffrence does this make as pertaining to theese two types of head sets. ps. im looking for the best gaming sound in sourround sound (positional sound ) also watch movies ect. im looking for gaming headset w/mic. (intel quad q6700/nvidia gtx 275 ftw/asus p5k-e w/wifi solo/ ocz platnum pc 8500 2x2gb/auzentech forte 7.1 soundcard/sound blaster x-fi fatal1ty I/o drive/pc power&cooling silencer 910w psu.(all feedback is apreciated in advance) thanks gherkinstien.
