Web appearance!

I will be out on the piss tommorrow. A little pre christmas drinkies. I will be starting at 11:00 in my local. Then at noonish I will be heading into town for some pool and <A HREF="http://www.stellaartois.co.uk/ok.html" target="_new">Stella</A> . At 17:00 GMT I will be in mathew street. The point of this is that there is a <A HREF="http://www.mathew.st/webcam.php" target="_new">web cam</A> on the street. I will give you all a wave. It will have to be 17:00 as things will no doubt start to get messy soon after. Anyone in Liverpool at the time is welcome to join me and I'll get the Stella in.

Outstanding work sir. Know what you mean about the birds who get ratted. It's our piss-up on Thursday, finish lunchtime and just keep on going until we all end up in a curry house, very worse for wear. Pubs are always full of them, always dolled up (although some of them clearly need bags over their heads to protect us from their gastly faces). There's usually one member of our party who ends up trying to cop off with one of the munters, spirit of christmas and all that.

It's a neat thing, anyway... On my sled web page there's a trail cam... That's the area I sledded last year.. I could have been on that with the sled... Too bad it's so far up there... 425 miles one way.. This year, we're not going as far north though...

When I had cable internet installed, I had the bog standard 512k for £25 per month. The 1Mb was £35 per month. Earlier this year, my provider upped everyones link by 50%, so I went up to 768 for no extra money. And now, they've upped it again. Now I'm on 1Mb for the same money. Whoo-hoo.

And the best bit, when I move, my cable provider doesn't run in that area, but I've checked the exchange and it's OK for DSL. I can get 8Mb for £40 per month, only problem is the d/l is limited to 500Gb per month!

Yeah, same here. When we were on holiday earlier in the year down south, the little villages are very picturesque, but there's not a chance in hell of getting broadband or cable. You could get satellite, but more than likely the locals would kick up a fuss over the dish ruining the look of the village.

Government is on another big drive to get everyone onto digital TV by something like 2010, when they'll switch off the analogue transmitters. Still a hell of a lot of people to go though.

It's about the same here then, I guess... When you go into the UP, your cell phone is dead, unless you've got Verizon.. If you've got Verizon, grab the ole ass cheeks, if you use it!!!

LOL Those sleds pull over real hard in this kind of cold.. Especially Big Bores like my Son's Widow Maker... We don't have the snow to ride around hear either... Don't have the trailer out yet either... [shrug]

Rode in 28 below before... Belts were froze on the sleds that morning & wouldn't engage the clutch. Would have just burnt up the belts. So we took all the belts off all the sleds & took them in the motel room to unthaw.. Got the stiffness out of the belts & road about 130 miles that day without a problem.

Last year, when I rolled my sled, it was 23 below that day.. Frost bit my chin, because the windshield was gone.... Only rode 80 miles that day because of it...

If I pull the goatee up & look under there, it's still darker than the rest of my chin..... Did some skin discoloring, anyway, if not scaring....

Good thing I wear a goatee!!!!!
