Does anyone have any experience with Goback 3 running under XP pro? I am wondering if it is more effective than XP's system restore feature. I had a problem with the system restore becoming unusable after a bad game install(DiabloII).
I have to take some of the blame because I ignored a error message about a bad Kernel32.dll during a reinstall of XP. The bad install also broke a few other programs requiring another reinstall. The next time I reinstalled the OS I made certain to watch and make sure there were no error messages.
So is Goback 3 a good replacement for the system restore feature. I think Goback has been around since before the system restore feature debuted on Win ME.
Any input would be appreciated
