Strange behaviour of wireless mouse

Hi,

I have wireless mouse + keyboard from genius (ergo media r800), but I have a problem with mouse. After booting up the computer and turning on the mouse it doesn't work and blinks red light (that indicates that batteries are not loaded, but they are fully charged), it simply doesn't send events to the receiver. To make it work, I have to reinsert batteries and turn mouse on and then VOILA, it works.

Does anyone understand this strange behaviour?
