Is it safe to remove the various windows update downloads from add-remove?

These are SP2 and various other downloads.

Thanks

Rich,

Uninstalling the hotfixes/updates is not recommended. You can uncheck the
"Show Updates" checkbox to prevent them from populating in the Add/Remove
Programs window.

No.

Removing them uninstalls the updates and reverts Windows to its
previous unpatched and unprotected state.
