Acer aspire 3050 windows installation problems

In the windows installation the keyboard and mouse hang, I had a virus on the one machine and tried to reload it and keeped getting the same problem, tried changing ram, HHD only thing I an let to try is to replace the battery. I have three machines with the same problem now
