I have a fast dome security camera which will function as an external webcam for my organisation. It has an RS485 serial cable which I need to connect to a pc. I intend to use a rs485-usb converter, but I need to connect a serial plug to the cable correctly. So I have a twisted pair rs485 cable, lots of nice colours and a serial plug (with 9 holes), please can someone tell me what goes where?
