I have recently been having trouble with people kicking my car as they walk past while it is parked on my driveway.

I am looking for a cctv camera that I can set up on the parcel shelf in my car, and a unit that can record events throughout the night. I want to avoild leaving my computer on all through the night. If such a product exists, I would be interested in a wireless camera and a receiver that stores at least 12 hours of footage, on say a memory card.

Any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated. Links to sites to buy such cameras would also be very helpful.

Take a look at www.beckosecurity.com.
You just need an IP camera with its flexialbe control.

You could try a DVR like this: CCTV Supplier
It runs on 12v, you will need to work out the total amount of amps used when you pick a camera to use with it.
I have a friend who uses this DVR in his van. :)

You can make any CCTV camera wireless with wireless adapters. During the night, the cameras will not get proper light. So you can install a Smart Nano IR which will help you get a great image and picture quality. You can go for a stand alone IR because it reduces noise and help even in less bandwidth.
