Confused! and steep learning curve! HELP!?

Greetings Wise ones! i recently bought a
(http://www.viewsonic.com/products/archive/nd4210w.htm) ViewSonic: ND4210w (a network display with just RJ-45 cables as input) and i would like to know if anyone has any ideas on how to convert this beast into a working TV or monitor? My first thought is to replace the input card with another Viewsonic 42" LCD-TV board?!......is this viable? And any idea on how to prevent the magical blue smoke that makes electrics not work!? :-) I REALLY hope someone has some ideas on this one!!

  1. Welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums!

Would one of these adapters work for you? http://ca.digikey.com/1/3/dvi-to-rj45-adapter
  2. I hesitate in answering this question because I am not sure if that is a network display or a network media player with a display.

I am going to mark this thread and see how it goes and hopefully learn something about it.
