Client is running Windows 2000 Workstation. Did not have antivirus software
installed. Having problems opening programs, control panel, c drive, etc.
Cannot get on the Internet. Can boot into safe mode, did an online scan,
9200 files were infected. All is clean, but still cannot get on the
Internet with normal boot. It begins to load the page, but stalls. Still
getting lock ups when accessing folder on the hard drive.

Thank you for help in advance!

Have you checked for add/spy/mal-ware using software such as Spybot
Search and Destroy ( http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html ) or
Ad-aware SE ( http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ ) ?

With that many infections who knows what has been damaged.

You may get more help from one ot the Windows 200 groups such as
alt.windows-w2k or microsoft.public.win2000.
