Drum mics
Last response: in Home Audio
I am going to record drums at school later and I am trying to figure out what I should use for the toms. My choices are sm57 and audix f10s and f12s. However we also have 1 akg 414 and 2 Rode K2s. I have heard of people using the 414 but what about the K2s? Would this sound good and would there be any chance of damaging the mic (assuming it doesn't get hit)?

A 57 is the classic drum mic.
