SAMSUNG SCX-4826FN
or
Brother MFC-7440N

i like that the SCX does duplexing, but i read a few reviews about paper jams and the unit not starting when a copy was being made. from reviews on both i think the MFC is a tad louder than the SCX. SCX has better fax speeds.

any opinions/suggestions on these two. which is a "better" printer in terms of quality. is support better at Brother or Samsung? etc. i really need a entry level all-in-one laser that works when i need it to, etc.

Have you considered other brands? HP is known for its laserjet all-in-ones. I've got an MFP1120 myself, and so far so good. :)

i was looking for sub $200 range. i missed a good deal from office max on the brother, they had it on sale last week for just $119. i can get the SCX for $169. other brands i did look at were Canon, HP, Epson, Lexmark, but in laser they were all rather pricey.
