Can i get hd through my projector if there is no hdmi input?

I have an acer1230ps and an view sonic pjd6241.
Neither have hdmi inputs but are 3d ready.
I could get a VGA/HDMI converter and also have usb and an rj45 input(on view sonic)
Any ideas on best quality connection if play xbox or blu ray?

Since NATIVE RESOLUTION:XGA (1024X768) you don't need a VGA/HDMI converter. Just use vga to vga connection. The only other port I see if S-video one..
