screen saver doesnt work

i have a pc with winxp sp2

the system is just formatted.... and in general works ok

but

the screen saver doesnt work at all..

there is a solution?

the mouse to one with a tail the screensaver works.�

�I got a fix. I changed to connection to the computer using the USB to PS2 adapter
that came with the mouse. Now I get the screensaver. I would be interested to find
