I'm looking for a LCD monitor that will work well for gaming with my 360, good details, etc.

I also want the option to make it into a TV for when I don't need it anymore. I actually don't watch TV, but my family does. I plan to move out within 2 years, and when I do I'll probably not be able to bring it with me. So I'll leave them with my family so they can use it as a TV. But I guess anything with HDMI can be made into a TV no?

I want it to survive past the guarantee, no use in buying something that dies after only 3 years.

Needs HDMI.

Btw, what is the use of the colored "component" ports?

Some I noted:

I spotted this one. It has a nice size 25.5", HDMI, has the colored ports things, 2 ms, but a bit more expensive.

Same as above, but 24", and no colored ports, less expensive. The cnet review was good, I assume the "big brother" is the same.

This one has direct cable input & a remote, colored ports, HDMI. The cnet reviews says this one isn't very good for gaming, so not sure about this. 5 ms.

I never heard of this brand. This set has everything at a low price though. But it's probably crap right?

At a 560$ "original price"(scepticism..), is this good? Better than the first I mentioned? Still kind of expensive this one.

I only considered this one because it is refurbished. And refurbished usually means good deals. Doesn't seem like a known model though.

This one has a nice price, no speakers included which means less money wasted into crappy features but no mentioned if there's an audio input. There should be one, there probably is, but it isn't listed, annoying.

This one is 23", 2 ms, free shipping, and very cheap. I'm still waiting for the catch.

My budget is 400$ including shipping, so take 50$ off for that and it's about 350$ max.

Suggestions?
