I have a Dell 4600 series. I was trying to reinstall Window XP Home Edition using Reinstallation CD. The installation did not work. All I am getting is a blue screen with stop: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, OX00020125, OXF789E4B8, OXF789E1B8)
I cannot start using Safe Mode. The system does not read the installation disk anymore. Just nothing but the blue screen, I have tried starting using F8, F3, F2, F12, F5...nothing. Please help!!!!

Bug Check 0x7E: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

In addition, a BCP1 of 0xC0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION.

In english, this points to memory corrupting occurring, so I suspect bad RAM.

Download/run memtest86+ to a USB stick and run to confirm if the RAM has errors.
