In all honesty im not im sorry dude.....but if i were to go duals id much rather get Athlon MP's.....there generally faster......check 'em out urself.....cost a LOT less too =)

Ur misinformed........

First off AMD has a 2400+ MP which is readily available......

And also....the 2.4 Xeon is in NO way cheaper than than 2200+ MP...

I can pick up ONE Xeon 2.4Ghz at a local shop here for $1079.00 CDN PLUS tax....

I can pick up ONE Athlom MP 2400+ at the SAME local shop for $389.00 CDN PlUS tax...

I can get like 3 MP 2400+'s for the price of 1 Xeon 2.4.....roughly anyways....

Ur gonan tell me that 2.4 Xeon is worth THAT price tag ??? i doesnt even perform very good.....the 2.4 Xeon and AMP 2400+ are equal in performace...with the AMD at a slight advantage......

NOT only that....btu Xeon's only run at 100Mhz FSB.....ur better off with a regualr P4....whats the difference between a P4 Xeon and a Regualr P4 ?? ones SMP Enabled....correct ??? they both have 512K L2 Cache now.....the newer P4 (not Xeon) Uses 533MHz FSB though...but u cant use them in SMP....for the price of 1 Xeon 2.4 u can get 1 3.06GHz w/ HT at that same shop...........
Stop spreading crap and do some research b4 u say what u do....

please tell that the inquirer, they wrote the article not me :)

btw, I checked
Athlon MP 2400+ : $233
Athlon MP 2200+ : $204
Intel Xeon 2.4Ghz : $200

those prices are surely faked MeTaLrOcKeR, now are they?

Well this is quite odd.......

I guess us Canadians just get reemed up the ass for Intel processors than.....i checked new egg and there 2.4 Xeon is for $230....the 2400+ is $237 and the 2200+ is $215......

If u check HERE which is a local store here not to far from me....u can see my prices were not over exagerated......I called them and they confirmed the prices and said both the 2200+ and 2400+ aswell as ANY Xeon have to be special ordered in though.....but yea the prices r as i said....

as far as performance goes.....Anandtech did a article comparing the MP to the Xeon and the MP mopped the floor all over the Xeons.......Anyways my bad for being harsh on u i apologize, i guess every geographical area is different...
