How do you re-enable a disabled drive?

I have been having problems with an external hard drive. In an attempt to fix it, I disabled the drive in the "Properties" window. Now, I cannot see it at all, even after a restart. I can't see it in the Device Manager or Disk Management. Any help re-enabling it, or finding some way to restore even a view of it?

(start menu or right click my computer and go to properties) > device manager > view > show hidden devices
