This one also seems comparable but much bigger screen, no blue ray (not huge deal. I got ps3).

HP doesn't make laptops....like most everyone else, they buy from an ODM. I have found it more cost effective to skip the middleman and buy direct from an ODM distributor. Pick a clevo distributors off this link

I still cannot find much to compare with the other 2 links i listed. I checked out Extreme PC and Eurocom. Both have some good options but it appears its no cheaper as i still would spend 1500 or so..
