Tv does not respond to remote

The tv will not respond to its remote not will it respond to a few other universal remotest I went out and purchased.

Have you replaced the batteries in the original TV remote commander before condemning it?

Have you re-programmed the universal remote commanders for your particular TV set if they are programmable ?

There may be several pre-programmed codes for your TV set in the manuals for the universal remotes. Have you tried them all ?

You may have to refer to the service dealer of your TV set for a repair job.
