Hp dvd burner install help

richardrichards55@yahoo.comFirst, I don't know a thing about computers. Now, I have a Dell OPTIPLEX GX270. It had no DVD player in. Today I was in the STore and I picked up a HP dvd 1270i-H07, DVD player/writer. I' m reading the back, 4 screw, 1 wire, how hard can it be? Right? It wasn't hard getting the thing in there. except, the power jack in the computer is completely different that on the dvd player, and where the hell is the SATA port for the data wire?And I got a feeling if I ever find it, it don't fit any way. I'm sure this seems really, really dumb to alot of you (all of You?). but you grew up playing with these things. I grew up knowing that you could take a part off a 350 Chevy and put it on another GM 350, Buick, Pontiac, Olds, and it would work. I am way out of my element with this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The data cable goes to the motherboard port that looks like this.
