Pinball expo hotle reservation cancelled?

Just got a call from the Ramada saying they are closing Aug 31st, therefore
cancelling my reservation for a room for the Expo. Did this happen to
anyone else, where is the Expo going to be?

I would suspect that the hotel will be under new management. I'd
contact pasack.

Ok, just got off the phone with the hotel.

They apparently just got under new management. They are still taking
reservations for pinball expo, just call them directly and mention the
pinball group. Rates are $89 or $93 (king/double bed) for the tower -
the inn part is gone. Most likely, toddahhh made reservations directly
with Ramada (online, maybe?) and those are cancelled due to the
management change. I just reserved a room for Expo no problem - if
Expo does get cancelled or moved, the reservation can be cancelled.

They said the pinball person would make an announcement about the
changes soon. I assume that person is Pacak. Sounds like the new
management will go with Expo, so hopefully this amounts to nothing more
than a few people having to re-reserve rooms.

I just called the hotel and the first rep I talked to said that they
are closing on August 31. I asked about Expo and she put me on hold...
The next person that answered wouldn't confirm or deny, but said there
were "a lot of changes going on" and that I could leave my number for
someone to call me back with info about specific events bla bla bla...
She kept pressing me for info about where I got the information.

Sounds not-so-good...

maybe that's why we haven't seen the registration posted on the website.
could this be the year without an expo? sheesh i hope not since this is
only the second time i'd be going!!

I am trying to get to the bottom of this!! As of today we have no info
from the hotel. I know it was for sale but that should not affect
expo. WE should have the registration form AND this years schedule up
next week. THERE WILL be A PINBALL expo! MIKE PACAK

I figure that if worse comes to worst we can always hold Expo2005 at
