An old DOS program that will not run in a window, only full screen, will not
allow for screen caputures which apparently could be done with Win98. Is
this possible in WinXP?

Close the program if opened.
Right-click on the icon of that program. Click properties.
Now go to "Screen" tab. Under "Usage" check "Window" instead of "Full screen".
Click OK.
Now start the program.
