What is the difference between Athlon XP AGOGA streping and Thoroughbred A core? Are they the same thing?

What kind of nick is that?

What? Let see there was a Athlon Thunderbird, Athlon XP Palomino, Thoroughbred A, Thoroughbred B and the up and coming Barton.

Also with this cores to distinguish from there is AGOIA, AGOGA and what the AGOUA stepping. What heck are this and what are the differences?

Reply to WellCookedFetus

Those codes you see on the die are the core stepping. TbredA is AMD's first .13u CPU. The tbred-b is much better.

...And all the King's horses and all the King's men couldn't put my computer back together again...

ok... but that does not answer my question is the stepping ID and the core name the same thing? Is an AGOGA steping and TbredA the same thing? are you say AGOGA means 130nm die?

Reply to WellCookedFetus

No. There are many core steppings for the tbreds.

I thought something so odd deserved an inquiry. It is rather unsettling to me. Didn't know it would be so to Wingding.

No I meant he would love it, and probably haunt the guy forever here.

Unfortunately this is reality.

In some parts of the Fareast, they do eat fetuses. Stillborns are sold direct from hospitals to merchants and are sold like a slab of meat.

Just informing you. This is not my thing any more than senseless killing of animals for their coats or ivory.

I draw a hard line between people and animals. But this isn't the forum for that discussion.

I realize that. Like I said the guy you answered has bad taste in picking out a nick.

I should have kept it quiet.

No offense intended.
