Transfer all the files including the directory structure to this external disk. Then connect the external disk to the new laptop and transfer the files to the new laptop. Here is an example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136540 This one does not need a power adapter (runs off of USB power). I personally prefer external drives that have their own power adapters. And don't forget to do regular backups on all computers. Upvote 0 Downvote
