To you, what is a movie? In other words, what do you consider as a movie when there is more than one part? If I asked; have you watched LOTR, what would you answer?
a) you have only watched one part of it
b) you have watched two parts of it
c) you have seen all three
Answer a, b, and c please.
What did you think of the second matrix?

I haven't read them... My Brother was into the books when they were written... We have a friend of ours, from the hippy days, that was so into the books, that he named his san Gandolf.....
Dazzle them with Brilliance, or Baffle them with BS! {FMCD}
yeah you're lucky that they called you harry potter rather than some retarded movie/book characters name like gandolf

I'd actually ask you which one. So yeah, I guess a movie for each.
Aside from Matrix Revolutions, no movie I know picked up right where the other left off, as in right in the same scene, ya know?
IIRC Revolutions picked up at the moment Bane was discovered as being Agent Smith hooked up with Neo in the ship.
As for your out-of-context question, I loved the second and third Matrix all the way.
I'll eventually get the trilogy pack they just released recently. (thank god we didn't have to wait 20 years before a trilogy DVD pack came out, like for Star Wars )

When I went to see it at the theatre the first time I was disapointed, because I had imagined them taking a different plot than the one they took, but after I watched Reloaded a second time, with a non pre-expectation attitude, I really enjoyed it and appreciated it a lot more, and also Revolutions when it came out made Reloaded make a lot more sense.
That could be important in your point here, if you have one, because removing Reloaded from the trilogy and only having 1 and 3, it wouldn't have made a whole lot of sense, unlike LOTR with which you probably could have removed 2 and 1 and 3 could have worked together without the second part. LOTR IMO, was just way too drug out, I thought it was never going to get to the end. Merry Christmas Scammy! Ry
yes, i do have a point. eden, spitty, and you have confirmed it so far. thanks.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO, RYAN! even though Christmas isn't a part of my culture, religion or calendar, these are very happy days. it comes down to humanity being one and when others around you are happy, you are happy too. just like when a member of your family is ill, everyone else in the family is "ill" too, in some way. its like a spiritual connection thats there and no one talks about it but we all can feel it, this is why unity is so important.

Wish there were more who adopted your attitude when they were disappointed with Reloaded, Ry. I do believe a second viewing with the same POV as yours, would change many's thoughts on the movie. (as in, those who didn't like it)
Did you see what the trilogy pack offers?
Over 35 hours of bonus material! 10 freakin' DVDs as well.
