check it out, they did 230mhz bus with a 13 multiplier using an Athlon XP 2700+, that's just about 3Ghz! (2998Mhz). I'm pretty sure they were benching this on an Epox 8k3a motherboard, they did try on several. Keep in mind though, this was with a 230 watt peltier! Insane cooling! They also overclocked a Pentium 4 for fun. They upped a 2.4Ghz pentium 4 to 3.4Ghz at 190mhz fsb. Not too shabby, but i've seen 4Ghz pentium 4 overclocks with this kind of equipment and cooling. Instead of Rdram, why not just merge 4 Sdram channels...

Im sure the pentium at 4ghz you have seen was a 2.4 (400 mhz fsb....the one they did here was a 2.4B....so you see 190 mhz fsb is quite impressive!!...most p4 setups on seem to pin out around 160fsb...
