I know this question has nothing to do with CPU's but I could not find a suitable board so decided to give myuself a better chance by putting it in the most popular place. Its a simple question.... Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Intel PnP Configuration Manager for DOS v6.22?. Ive recently installed DOS on a 486 so that I can play my good old game Simon the Sorcereer. However to install the drivers for my SB16 I need a PnP Configuration Manager... Of which I dont know where to get... any ideas?

Thanks.

Yep Ive tried Kazaa, but nm, Ill find it somehow. Anyway about the overclock... here are my specs for a start:

AXP 2000+ Palomino
MSI 745 Ultra
256MB Crucial PC2700
GF4 Ti4200 (Gainward Golden Edition)
CoolerMaster Cheap HSF (not v.special, its only Aluminium)

Well, my Vdimm settings ive kept at default since my Ramm is able to run upto 166 FSB at Cas2.5, although at the moment its at Cas2. Im not sure of my core stepping on the chip, its nothing special but its a green packaged chip. The cooler is a rubbish Aluminium HSF that provides temps of 38/47 idle/load even when overclocked. Im also using some crappy 'Silicon Paste' that came with the HSF... goes to show you dont need extreme copper coolers or AS3 to overclock  . At first I had my Vcore at default, and was able to get upto 140FSB for a speed of 1750mhz. However by putting it upto 1.8 (pretty low really) I could get it upto 144FSB for a speed of 1,800mhz. I did try pushing the FSB upto 146 with a vcore of 1.825 but I only got 50 extra 3dmarks so decided that I was probably pretty much Graphics card limited. My GF4 Ti4200 was at 303/600 and doesnt seem to be able to go much higher - perhaps a new cooler is necesary :-() Anyway thats about all I can say. You will probably be able to get a lot higher, however in my case there was no point simply because I was graphics limited.

cheers for the info.i don't think i will be able to get as far as you coz my ram is only generic pc2100.i got it to 12.5X142=1775MHz with a 1.85 Vcore and 2.6 VDimm but it was very slightly unstable, crashing every now and then.do you think the Vdimm may be too low?could it be safely increased further coz i have only gone up by 0.1V?

Im not sure about increasin the Vcore, I think If you go above 2.7v it can damage your Ram, although it looks like your memory is the limiting factor currently since at 1.85v an Athlon XP 2000+ should be able to go much higher than that.
