I understand tn vs ips vs cpva or whatever and have done tons of research. about a months worth. i want a monitor with no backlight bleed through, high color gamut, min 1000:1 contrast, led backlight... if theres a tn panel out there capable of producing quality id buy it since i dont care about viewing angles otherwise i have no clue...
I can't seem to find anything.
something i'm looking at is the ViewSonic VP2650WB

All LCD monitors exhibit some level of backlight bleeding no matter what technology is used. It is simply the limitation of LCD tech.

Recommendation = Dell 2408WFP when on sale

Agreed - Dell 2408WFP will be the best choice.
