Replacing color cylinders in Konica Minolta printers

the poewr went off in my office and when it came back on the job that I was running had stopped and the window told me to replace Cyan Toner. When I went to replace it the Toner Cartridge was not in the front to be easily removed so I called Konica Minolta support and wes told to take a paper clip and push idown on a button above the Color Cartridges and to turn the colors counter clockwise to remove the color. It worked, but after i let the printer run through it's power up cycle it still said to replace the same color Cartridge. I removed the cartridge and put it right back thinking maybe I placed it in the machine wrong.
I turned the printer off for a couple seconds and turned it back on. Didn't work. Called Konica Minolta back and they told me there was nothing they could do because I had removed the cartridge, and put it back in.

Is there anything I can do now to fix this?
