Hello,
I have a 1998 Ballys slot machine. It has code 88 on it. Does anyone know what this means and what I need to buy to fix this problem. Thanks for any help.

If your error is 88FF you need to RAM CLEAR the board, search ebay for chips with instructions. You could call someone to offer remote help in troubleshooting these chips like http://BarRoomArcade.com (I think their phone number is 773-BAR-ROOM) because the basic ram clear does not always work, and there is a matrix of possible steps to get through these things. 88FF is a pain in the ass to get rid of, but you must.
