Hi, I've read over several printer problems on the forum and followed the advice on them, but so far they have not worked. Here is some info on my printer and os.
HP Deskjet D2360
windows vista home premium 64 bit
I have tried the following:
check all cables/connections
check power
check for caught paper
check ink
completely disconnect and let sit unconnected overnight and reconnect
restart spooling action through computer services
check metal connection that registers whether lid is open/closed
unistall/reinstall drivers
try using offline/online
change ports: LPT1 to USB001 and back
None, of these have provided any result. It was last working a few days ago, and without any problems. Yesterday, I went to print a word doucment, and it made it to the printer queue, but the printer just has its status light blinking. Usually when it has blinked in the past it is just out of paper or a paper jam. But not this time.
It is about 4 years old now, and I guess I should replace it, but it has not had any problems until now.
