AthlonXP 2400+, AthlonMP, or P4-2.4B Ghz for MPEG

I convert VHS and digital camcorder movies all day long to DVD for people. I currently run an EPOX dual 800B Mghz machine with WinXP-Pro and I want to get a new machine that will be used strictly for MPEG encoding with TMPGEnc. I am on a budget and need the fastest of these three systems: AthlonXP 2400+, AthlonMP 2200+ (maybe 2400+), or Intel P4-2.4B Ghz (maybe 2.53 Ghz).

What would you recommend?

if u want to save cash get the amdxp 2400 with lots of memory and ddr333 asus a7v333 is a good board or u can go the new asus a7n8x if u thing u need dual ddr in the future
