Keyboard and mouse dont work on conputer

i cannot get my keyboard and mouse to work i have resume the system from its previous location failed on my screen and to try again and press enter but keyboard and mouse wont work now so cant press enter

microsoft sidewinder x4 keyboard and and optical mouse but other keyboards not work on it either

Reset the BIOS, unplug the PC, remove the CMOS battery for at least 10 seconds, try it again. If no keyboard or mice work in the system after that in any USB ports, they ports are bad.
