HELP! lol

Hello,
last night an avg window popped up & said it was deleting a virus & rapidly quarantined a load of file paths, it then said do you want to remove this other 'item' in another pop up window, so i clicked the ok button & now the only program on my laptop that works is internet explorer. Im no pc whizz. i found ur site on google & tried ur start in safemode w/networking but this doesn't recognise my dongle, only wireless in the area which i dont have/ Please help its getting very frustrating. The only good thing is the laptop seems much faster at loading the internet!

Go to avg quarantine vault and restore the file from being quarantine, also mark them as safe.
If you have deleted item from quarantine vault, then use system recovery, system image restore (you you have a copy), and lastly a fresh window installation.
