Hi all,

I am building a new system and I'm probably going for XP2600 RETAIL version.

Do I need to use a thermal paste when assembling the CPU or the thermal compound (sticker) which comes in the stock HSF (I suppouse it does come) is enough?

Any comments appreciated.

Cheers!!!

I would use what comes with it unless you are worried that heat is going to be an issue and you want to cut a few degrees...

And a compond is not a sticker, that is just a thermal pad, sticker or even known as frag tape.
