LCD Monitor Going Out?

Last response: in Computer Peripherals

Well the first question is are you the one who will replace the part?
If your not doing the labor part, than it's time to move on. Labor costs+parts could end up costing 1/2 to full price of a new monitor...

If you are doing the labor than:

Check the connections on your monitor...

It can be two things, the backlight or the invertor. You could replace the backlight first and hope for the best, I am basing this on the dark colors (colors looking faded I assume)...
