I have three TOM and I notice the playfields look different on one of
them. The area by the slings on the one is a purple color and the
other two is a reddish color. Is there anyway to tell if the one with
the purple color areas is a Prototype, as someone had told me it might
be. As always any info would be appreciated.

the prototype would also have a working saw i believe. Do they make
aftermarket kits for that pop up post?

Make your own. Champion Pub and other pins used a pop up. Take out the
insert on TOM between the flippers, stick in the pop up, figure out the
wiring ( go into solenoid test, TOM's still have it in there ) and you are
good to go. LTG :)

instead of looking for the red boards, look to the playfield. if you
have a pop up post between the flippers, you are in business. :)

i would advise against this, i personally think the game is easy
enough and that post serves no purpose. :)
