Hey guys -

As a decal noobie, just wondering if there are any do's or don't when
applying new decals. I have a bunch on the way for DINER from Jeff
(Thanks Jeff - they look awesome) at Classic Arcades. Before I went
ahead and took the plunge and applied the new decals, I just wondered
if there was anything else I should do beforehand in prepartion or
when it comes to actually applying the new decal. I know most of
Jeff's stuff is all "Peel and Stick" but obviously I want to make sure
I do things right and not screw up the playfield with a stupid error.
Do I have to remove all of the original stuff before applying the new
decal or can I just go "over top"? My Diner has the usual insert
wear that needs to be repaired and also a couple of other small, but
warn decaled areas.

I tried to look through the RGP archives, but didn't find much.

Thanks for any tips!

Matt :)

If you mist the surface that you are going to apply the decal to then
it will be able to slid around to get it just right. You then squeegee
out the moisture and the decal seals up properly over about 24 hours.

This information is commonly supplied with sticky decal or side art kits.
