Refilling Laserjet 1100 92A printing darkness issue

I have purchased a refill kit for my HP Laserjet 1100 92A cartridge from www.tonerrefillyourself.com. I was able to take the cartridge apart by pressing the two outside pins essentially splitting the cartridge in two pieces and then removing the cover on the toner side of cartridge. I refilled it with the 140 grams of toner in the bottle, attached everything and then sifted the to make sure the toner was level.

Now here is my issue. When I tried to print everything looked ok until I looked carefully at the font and found it to be a bit light. So I printed a black page and found that on the left side it is lighter than the right side. I also noticed that the toner isn't as dark as the original HP. Is this a problem with the toner or did I do something wrong? I refilled two cartridges and have the same problem on both of them.
