At what temp in degrees C does the P4 1.8a and P4 2.4 533 begin to slow down to protect the CPU? I now have alarms set at 60C. Is that too late or too early?

Thanks in advance.

Every working computer must be improved .... or replaced ...

should be fine;my 2.4a default temp. sensor is 70c. but i, like you, have mine set for 60c. hottest mine ever got to was around 55c. --- and that was when it was o/c ed to 2.88 and playing quake 3 for an hour, and never noticed any slow down at this temp. besides, you'd rather have the alarm go off sooner than later,(later=trouble)
